2008 LARE Exam Dates

The graphic sections (Sections C and E) of the L.A.R.E. are administered in June and December. The multiple-choice sections (Sections A, B and D) of the L.A.R.E. are administered four times a year.
The dates for the administration of the graphic sections of the L.A.R.E. (Sections C and E) are as follows:
June 9, 2008 - Section C - Site Design
June 10, 2008 - Section E - Grading Drainage and Stormwater Management
Registration Deadline – May 9, 2008
December 8, 2008 - Section C - Site Design
December 9, 2008 - Section E - Grading Drainage and Stormwater Management
Registration Deadline – August 29, 2008

Update on Preparation Materials for Landscape Architect Registration Examination (Based on CLARB press release dated March 7, 2005)
To help candidates preparing for the Landscape Architect Registration Examination (LARE), the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB) now offers online practice exams for multiple choice sections A, B, and D. The cost for each practice exam is $45 and can be accessed by creating a free account at www.C2Ed.com. In addition, CLARB has reduced the price of the premier LARE study guide, The Road to Licensure and Beyond (including Understanding the LARE, 5th Edition) by $40. And, for those candidates preparing for the graphic sections C and E, CLARB also offers six Diagnostic Vignette practice problems that include a personal critique of candidates’ solutions.
