Jonathan Goldman is the Executive Director of the Illinois Environmental Council and the Illinois Environmental Council Education Fund. Goldman has nearly 20 years experience with environmental policies and advocacy in Illinois, and he has lobbied the Illinois General Assembly on environmental, consumer and education issues for the past 15 years. Previously, he was the Policy and Governmental Affairs Director with the Citizens Utility Board, a statewide utility consumer advocacy organization. He has also served as Executive Director of the Lead Elimination Action Drive, a community-based coalition working on childhood lead poisoning prevention issues. In 2004, Goldman was honored by Crain’s Chicago Business as a “40 under 40” rising star.
